@SchoolMallard I really appreciated meeting the pupils this week. They were amazing. They responded so well. I loved their personalities and smartness walking around the corridors. As a CEO this is all you need! @ExceedLP

140 pupils from Mallard Primary School performed in the Recital Concert on Friday 28th June to a full audience of parents and carers. Our pupils from Year 1 to 6 were so excited to show off their musical skills, with a wide range of ensembles and groups performances.

Year 3 had a brilliant day at the Royal Armouries in Leeds where they took part in workshops finding all about Boudicca's rebellion and how to be a Roman soldier. The children were fantastic all day and a credit to the school.

On Tuesday, a group of Year 5 children visited the Dome to attend the 2024 Doncaster Storytelling Festival. The children had the opportunity to meet with a variety of children's authors and illustrators, including Paul Cookson, Liz Million, Phil Sheppard and Anna Brooke.

Sing Out 2024 at The Dome was an amazing experience for our students at Mallard Primary School. Over the past few weeks, they have spent hours learning all of the songs and actions in our  Sing Out Choir after-school club and did themselves proud.

On June 19th, some of our year 5 children took part in the Primary Enterprise Challenge. The children pitched sensory rooms that they had created and designed to a panel of judges. The children were such confident performers when pitching to the judges. Well done year 5!

On Friday 14th June, Year 5 and 6 pupils performed at St John's Hospice in Balby for their annual summer coffee morning to help raise funds for the hospice. It was a fabulous event with the children performing Lean on Me, Is this the way to Amarillo and other well-received songs.
